A project isn't a ticket number, it's a relationship. When you come to Design Haus, you sit down with someone who knows the materials, remembers your project, and stays with it from spec to warranty. A design consult works best booked ahead, so we can set aside the time and the right samples for your project. Walk-ins are welcome, but you'll get the most out of Design Haus with a consult on the calendar. #### Do you work with my contractor, or do I need one first? Both. If you already have a contractor, we're glad to loop them into the conversation. If you don't, we can point you toward someone from the MVP network, vetted by Mountain View. #### How long does a design consult take? Most projects take about an hour. Larger builds, or ones covering several material categories, sometimes need a second visit. #### Is Design Haus the same as your yard? No. Design Haus, in Canmore, is where you choose materials and plan the project. Our yard, in Calgary, is where orders are fulfilled. Address and hours for both are below. #### Will I be working with the same person throughout my project? Yes. Your consult isn't a hand-off. The person you sit down with at Design Haus stays with your project from spec to warranty. #### What can I actually see and compare at Design Haus? Decking, siding, railings, fencing, cedar by the species, and finish samples, side by side, under the same light, so you're comparing the real thing, not a swatch on a screen.
